Mounting to wire mesh instead of timber?

Every Dine-A-Chook feeder and drinker comes with a mounting kit for timber or metal: two steel brackets and four screws. On a wire mesh coop the screws have nothing to bite into, so you need bolts and washers to clamp the brackets through the mesh. This kit is exactly that, in stainless steel, in the right size.

What is in the kit?

Four bolts, four washers and four nuts, sized to fit the Dine-A-Chook steel mounting brackets. One kit mounts one feeder or one drinker, so a feeder and drinker kit needs two.

Which units does it fit?

All Dine-A-Chook chicken feeders, and the upright 2L and 4L drinkers including the compact automatic drinker. It also mounts the composite panel feeder and drinker mounting brackets to mesh. It suits most square-gauge wire mesh. Not sure about yours? Contact us before you order.

How do I look after the mounting hooks?

The moulded hooks on the back of each feeder and drinker are built for strength. Use both brackets and share the weight evenly between the top and bottom hooks, and the unit will hang straight for years.
