This automatic waterer is suitable for a wide range of birds, including ducks, geese, waterfowl, chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, pheasants, game birds, pigeons, and aviary birds. Nipple outlets are the best choice for waterfowl, who are known for fouling their drinking water, although they may still need a larger water source for optimal health.

To ensure durability, use the highest quality garden hose for installation. This drinker will withstand constant water pressure when properly installed.

Easy Installation Steps

  1. Connect the outlet piping to the base of the header tank.
  2. Attach the Lubing Cup outlet.
  3. Determine the height of the smallest bird to set the Lubing Cup at eye level.
  4. Mark the timber frame for the mounting plate, then install it with the screws provided.
  5. Fit the tank to the mounting bracket.
  6. Attach the nylon inlet valve. Slide the stainless steel clamp onto the garden hose, fit it onto the valve, and secure it in place.
  7. Turn on the water and ensure the tank fills, and water releases when the Lubing Nipple is pressed.

Note: Birds like ducks and chickens need access to water 24/7, both inside and outside the coop. Choose a shady spot for your drinker to ensure consistent access.

Important: Monitor for the first few hours to ensure even the smallest birds can reach the water. Adjust the system's height if necessary.
