How To Install Your Automatic Poultry Drinker

We recommend installing your Automatic Poultry Drinker in a shady spot, as all birds prefer cool water. Follow the steps below for easy installation, after securing a water supply at the spot of your choice.

  1. Determine the correct height of the Lubing Cup from the ground - this should be eye level for the smallest bird.
  2. Hang the Drinker at the correct height using the rear mounting hooks, or mark the correct location for the top mounting bracket and secure in place using the screws and hang the Drinker to determine the correct height for the bottom mounting bracket and install.
  3. Fit the unit to the mounting brackets
  4. Now slide the stainless steel clamp onto the garden hose, fit the garden hose firmly onto the nylon inlet valve and clamp securely into place.
  5. Go turn on the water and check that the tank is filling and water is releasing into the Lubing Drinker Cup by pressing gently down on the float.

NB. Poultry should have access to fresh water at all times. This may require the installation of more than one Poultry Drinker depending on the design of your coop.

*Critically Important - Always monitor for the first few hours so you can ensure the smallest bird in the flock can access the water in the Lubing Cup. If the bird can not access the water, slightly lower the position of the system.
